The motor is retained in both base units by way of an easy-to-use lever-lock system that makes moving the motor from one base to the other fast and easy. The Bosch adapter allows no-tools changing of the guide templets. When templet bushings are needed, a nicely designed adapter is installed into the opening with two screws.
